The GPS620 is a six way passive signal splitter. It is designed for dividing one GPS antenna signal among six receivers. The device allows one receiver to power an active antenna remotely. At the same time it blocks the current path from other receivers. Each port of the splitter is equipped with TNC female connectors. An important feature is the 200 ohm internal loads. These loads provide a current drain for receivers not powering the antenna. Without this drain some receivers may incorrectly detect an antenna fault. The loads simulate antenna current and prevent unwanted fault indications. The blocked ports support up to ten volts and fifty milliamps. The pass port can handle fifty volts and one thousand milliamps.
