GPS NTP Server – Net.Time GPS-Based NTP & PTP Timing Server

Net.Time is a GPS/GNSS-based NTP Server and PTP Timing Server designed to provide a reliable reference time for network synchronization applications. It supports NTP, PTP and SyncE, along with multiple timing interfaces and oscillator options for telecom, data center, power, railway, industrial and other critical infrastructure networks.

The Net.Time platform distributes accurate reference time across IP networks and supports timing signals such as 1PPS, ToD, IRIG-B and other interfaces, depending on the selected configuration.

Net.Time GPS NTP Server for Reliable Network Synchronization

Net.Time combines GPS/GNSS-referenced timing with NTP, PTP and SyncE capabilities to provide a reliable synchronization source for network infrastructure. Its flexible timing architecture and oscillator options make it suitable for applications requiring accurate and stable network time synchronization.

What Is a GPS NTP Server?

A GPS NTP Server is a network time server that uses GPS/GNSS as a reference time source and distributes synchronized time to network-connected devices using the Network Time Protocol (NTP).

GPS NTP Servers provide a centralized time reference for servers, routers, switches, telecom equipment and other IP-based systems. They are commonly deployed where reliable and consistent network time is required for event logging, monitoring, network operations and critical infrastructure applications.

How Does a GPS NTP Server Work?

Net.Time receives a reference time from GNSS and maintains the timing reference using its internal timing architecture. It then distributes synchronized time across the network using NTP and, where required, PTP and other supported timing interfaces.
