The COR580 (Ramon Spine), together with the COR550, can be deployed as a distributed chassis or in a spine-and-leaf architecture, enabling scalable and flexible network infrastructures with high-throughput bandwidth for routing, packet processing, and efficient traffic management. The COR550 open network switch comes with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) software, including the open-source Open Network Linux as well as commercial NOS options.
