Cassini features a compact 1.5RU design with 3.2 Tbps system throughput powered by Broadcom StrataXGS™ Tomahawk™ Plus silicon. It comes with sixteen fixed 100GbE QSFP28 ports and eight linecard slots, offering a flexible combination of 200GbE or DCO optical ports using coherent DSP and optical modules from leading technology partners.
This open network switch includes the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), enabling deployment of open-source NOS options like Open Network Linux or commercial NOS software. Cassini also supports Ethernet and optical line cards with MACsec encryption, ensuring secure links across both client connections and metro/WAN networks.
